Bahrain Duty Free, Managed by Aer Rianta International Middle East, opened its doors at Bahrain International Airport on 29 October 1991.
Within the dynamic and high spending region of the Middle East, our operation is unique as Bahrain Duty Free is privately owned and is listed on the Bahrain Stock Exchange.
This makes us acutely aware of our obligations to our share holders and the need to maximize profitability without compromising the customer offer.
We have successfully addressed and overcome the continuing challenges facing the travel retail industry in the region, including the low taxation and regional down town discounting.
