Tomatin 21 Year Old is officially a travel retail whisky. However they are also on the shelves of classic retailers, as often with duty free expressions. It matures exclusively in first fill ex-bourbon barrels.

Apart from this 21 year old, the travel retail range from Tomatin consists of an 8 year-old, 16 year-old and 40 year-old whisky.

This addition to our travel exclusive whiskies features warm flavours of fresh croissant, apple and honey balance perfectly with aromas of soft tropical fruits, resulting in a buttery, creamy finish.

Cask Type: Tomatin 21 year old single malt is matured solely in exclusive 1st fill ex-bourbon casks.

Tasting Note:
Nose: The influence of full maturation in ex bourbon barrels is immediately obvious. Lashings of vanilla, coconut and caramel leap out of the glass with a pleasant level of oak spice. Settling in time, notes of baked apples and citrus emerge along with a soft floral aroma.

Palate: Delicious; notes of apple crumble, freshly baked croissants and Manuka honey give a sweet, warming base from which ginger, clove and star anise add layers of spice.

Finish: Long, fruity and buttery.
