Grant’s Triple Wood 12 is matured in two barrels, commonly used in the industry, however it is the use of a third barrel that makes it unique. Each wood brings a distinct flavour - Sherry Cask is used in place of Virgin Oak, giving a sweet spice flavour. In 2019, Grant’s 12YO won IWSC Best in Class Trophy in Blended Scotch. Triple Wood 12 is, and continues to be, an accredited, Award Winning whisky.
Tasting Note:
Nose: Sweet and sherry-like with dried fruits. Subtle woody notes with malty undertones.
Taste: Vanilla, honey and spice, all mixed together for a rich and sweet flavour. Aged grains and peated malt add depth.
Finish: Long, soothing and warm. A feeling you won’t want to rush.
